Retreat places

There are different places to go for a retreat:

• Retreat houses - these are listed in the handbooks of the various religious groups and many are in Retreats*.
• Conferences centres - many offer themed retreats, conferences, activities based on specific topics. Again look in Christian publications, monthly magazines and Retreats*.
• Your own favourite place where you can be and do just what you want to.

* the magazine of the Retreat Association - Retreats - is published in December each year and lists over 200 retreat centres and hundreds of retreat activities for the coming year.
